Over the weekend there was a lot of driving involved so I was able to read 'Allegedly' by Tiffany D. Jackson, using the Libby App. I have mixed feelings on how this book ended, and I am afraid if I type my review I will either 1) give too much away or 2) sway opinions. In the last year you have probably heard the phrase, "Let Them." If not, I highly recommend listening to Mel Robbin's podcast and reading this book. One thing that I like about Mel, is that she is so relatable! As I was reading this book, I felt like it was her and I having a conversation and she knew exactly how I was feeling. Another reason why I love Mel so much, is that she can turn the scientific facts into something that I can understand and retain.

My latest discovery amongst our library shelves is a historical fiction novel, 'The Dollhouse,' by Fiona Davis. I would also categorize this book as a mystery and yes, it is worth reading. This fast-paced book invites you into the lives of Rose, a modern-day journalist, and Darby, a young woman who had gone to secretary school and was staying at the Barbizon Hotel, in 1952.

If you are in the habit of checking Goodreads before checking out your books, then this one will show mixed reviews. They have an instant connection on that day and feel the need to do something that matters to the world.
